Julianna Margulies is featured in the April 2014 issue of MORE Magazine. The Good Wife star,
American actress and producer. After several small television roles, Margulies achieved both critical and commercial success in her role as Nurse Carol Hathaway on NBC’s long-running medical drama ER, for which she won an Emmy Award. After her departure from ER in 2000, Margulies appeared in the 2001 miniseries The Mists of Avalon and voiced the role of Neera in Disney’s CGI film Dinosaur. In 2009, she took the lead role of Alicia Florrick in the American legal drama The Good Wife on CBS, for which she has won a Golden Globe, a Television Critics Association Award and the 2011 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
In the issue she talks her role as Alicia Florrick on The Good Wife:
“I may work long hours, but I really love my job. Alicia is ever evolving. It’s a challenge, fun, hard and everything that you dreamed you’d be able to do when you were taking acting classes.”
She also talks her many flashbacks of Alicia with Will Gardner (Josh Charles):
“What I love about the flashbacks with Will is that you get to see her true happiness in a moment where she’s not thinking about anyone else but herself. And that’s not a normal day for Alicia. She’s always thinking about everyone but herself.”
